We are excited to announce that our very first corporate partner is with a minority and woman-owned small business named ForensisGroup located in our very own Pasadena, California.
Founded by Mercy Steenwyk in 1991, ForensisGroup quickly became known as the Expert of Experts. The organization has been working with attorneys find the best expert witnesses to help find the truth and make a difference for over 30 years. They have made huge advances in improving our laws and regulations to benefit individuals, businesses, and our environment.
We are proud of this partnership as it demonstrates the power of community and the Los Angeles pride - with a local small business supporting a local nonprofit aimed at tackling LA's biggest social issue: homelessness.
Our Road Less Traveled Tours program focuses on training and developing individuals experiencing homelessness to become City Tour Guides, or what we prefer to call them - Storytellers. We create a safe space for our Storytellers to highlight the stars, the glamour, the history and culture of LA along with real life stories and challenges local Angelenos face daily. As part of our solution, all the tour proceeds go directly to our Storytellers. Our hope is that this work experience leads our Storytellers to opportunities that may improve their circumstances in accessing secure housing, nourishing meals, and a stable job.
